Returns and refunds
Returns, Replacements & Refunds
At House of Zainab, we carefully check and pack every order. We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or an incorrect size selected by the customer. This does not affect your rights when an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described.
Report an issue within 7 days
Please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery if your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect. This is our standard reporting window and does not limit rights available under applicable consumer law.
Unboxing video and supporting evidence
We strongly recommend recording one clear, continuous unboxing video, starting with the sealed courier parcel and shipping label and continuing through opening the package and inspecting the item. Send your order number, a description of the issue, the video and clear photos to thehouseofzainab@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 6353269772. If a video is unavailable, please contact us with other evidence; we will assess genuine complaints fairly.
Approval before sending a return
Keep the item, tags, accessories and original packaging where possible. Do not use, wash, alter or repair the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it. Contact us before sending anything back. After reviewing your evidence, we will confirm eligibility and provide return or collection instructions. Do not send a parcel to our business address without return instructions.
Replacement is our first option
For an approved claim, we normally offer a replacement of the same item, subject to availability. House of Zainab covers the approved return and replacement shipping costs for verified damaged, defective or incorrect items. We will confirm dispatch arrangements after review and, where required, receipt and inspection of the returned item. The 7-day reporting window is not a guarantee of replacement delivery within 7 days.
Refunds
If a suitable replacement is unavailable, or a refund is otherwise required under applicable law, we will arrange a refund instead. Approved refunds are initiated within 7 business days after receipt and inspection of the return, or after approval if no return is required. Refunds are sent to the original payment method where possible; for cash-on-delivery orders, we will agree a suitable refund method with you. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit the amount. Store credit will not be imposed instead of a refund that is due.
